Based on your very polite question, I would suggest you ask the pump manufacturer.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

Agree, it is specific to the pump and only the pump manufacturer will be able to answer the question.
