Hi,

I tried to connect a 2D truss part to Shell parts (girders), by using tie constraint and node regions. but it seems that it doesn't work because the truss part didn't appear in the visualization module I had this warning:
"node set assembly_truss2-1-refpt_ has no members and will be ignored. Nodes defined in this set may have been deleted because they were not connected to any elements".
I attached some pictures with more details.
So what is the best way to connect a truss part and shell parts?
Thank you in advance.

One way of doing this is by merging the instances (Merge/Cut Instances tool in the Assembly module).

Does it mean that I should place all the truss parts in the right place and merge all parts in the assembly module? so the whole bridge will be considered as a part itself, right?

That’s right. This way new part will be created and it will consist of these merged instances. But there are different methods. For example you can try using MPC constraint.
