Hello,

When I first enter in the checking fixture manufacuter area I was asked to be strict to the CMM checking and measurement, but I don't know what subjects affect more in the designing course?

Could some one tell me what makes a fixture good?

Look at the part drawing while you are looking at the fixture drawing.

Can you put the part in wrong, upside down, backwards?
No? That's good.

Can you put the wrong part in?
No? That's good.

Can the dumbest CMM operator on your team figure out how to put the part in the fixture without being coached?
Yes? That's good.

How hard is it to install and align the fixture in the CMM?
Not hard? That's good.

Maybe take a look at the relevant industry standards for both the drawings and tolerances you're working too, and for the recommended inspection processes etc.

In the US ASME Y14.100 series especially Y14.5, Y14.5.1, as well as the more targeted ASME B1.2 & B4.4.

Also, your English language skills seem a little weak - may be an area you could work on that would indirectly help with your core job function.
