What should I do?

Hi! I am Avinash and am a student doing my Masters in Mechaical Engineering? Everyone around here ask me to shift over to Computer Science as soon as possible, but I want to know onething-> Is surviving with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering that tough even in US of A? It just depends on what you want to do. I have a degree in Chemical Engineering but have been writing engineering software for the past 4 years. There is an extremely high demand for computer professionals now, and certainly in the future. I think that having a computer background will not only help, but put you one step ahead of other engineers. Again, almost everything is computer related in today's society. There is no such thing as knowing too much!!!
