Hi!

I´m reading some technical requirements of client and i found that he requires an ignition rod made of this material: No 430-F.S.S. I require it in rod but I dont get the "430-F.S.S." material. Can anyone tell me what does FSS mean and also 430?

Thanks!

Dear btrueblood!

Thank you so much. With that info, I have gotten its equivalent to ASTM = ASTM A 276-03

Thks again!!!

Could be 430F Stainless Steel which is the resulfurized free machining version. UNS S43020. This is very common in bar products.
