I think they were both less than 2 ton hoists. Here are two documents I found that helped with the design: 1) ANSI Specification For Patented Track Underhung Cranes & Monorail MH21.1-2009 2) ASME B30.11-2010 Monorails & Underhung Cranes I think both documents can be found on internet for free with a little searching. The ASME document has good background info, but The ANSI document was a little more useful because it actually specifies some loading rules.
