Wheel blows up when rotating

Hey,

I made a model of a wheel consisting of three different concentric layers, aluminium-rubber-aluminium. Then I have the wheel rotate and in the same time a track approaches the wheel. The wheel is supposed to just ride over the track, but it blows up & deforms (second picture) and even goes through the track.
Does someone know what is going wrong?

Did you define contact in this analysis ? You can use general contact capability. It works best. What are the boundary conditions and how are they applied (it would be best to show them on the picture) ?

Is the deformation scale factor larger than 1 in postprocessing?
Otherwise check if NLGEOM is on.
If that does not solve the problem, run the analysis in double precision.
