I am looking for help and seeing if someone can point me in the right direction.

When designing wheels, an important aspect is spoke clearance for brake caliper profiles. I am having a difficult time securing brake profiles to design wheels around. Besides measuring each vehicle the old fashioned way, if there a body of data somewhere I can reference?

@Xwheelguy can probably help. In my past, we got the caliper clearance envelope from the brake manufacturer.

My experience is that this type of information is only obtainable if you measure it. I know that both Tire Rack and Discount Tire did that at one point in time.

Do they do that now? I don't know, but I suspect they either work with their wheel suppliers on obtaining such information from them, or measure it themselves and share that with their wheel suppliers.

I believe both of the companies you mentioned still measure by hand but that data is not distributed. I have not checked with brake manufacturers yet as I do not know who manufactures brakes for individual OEMs.

If you're not directly supplying to an automaker, you'll have to either buy the information from companies that scan the brake profiles, purchase the equipment and do it yourself or hire a third party to obtain the information. Unfortunately, I've been out of the wheel industry too long and no longer have any contacts for those sorts of services.

Another alternative would be to cut a full scale verification model from your 3D wheel model and do a fit up, like at a dealership - will probably cost you to do such a thing.

You might stumble across some 3rd parties by doing a Google search for "wheel fitment" or "brake caliper clearance".....
