Not sure if this is the proper forum for this question but here goes

I believe in the US a window that meets all these criteria:

-The window measures more than nine square feet

-It has a bottom edge that’s under 18″ from the floor

-It has a top edge that’s more than three feet above the floor

-There’s a walkway within three feet

The window is required to be tempered.

There are other situations (wet areas, stair/ramp, etc) but the above situation is the one I have a question about.

Now, for the Canadian code (in this case the NBCC 2015) I can't seem to find a similar list. There are tables showing the maximum square footage of the glass before it has to be tempered. I can't find anything about the distance from the floor etc.

Any help would be appreciated.
