I've upgraded from Architectural Desktop 2000i to Architectural Desktop 2005, and cannot find 2 of my favorite items.

MATCH PROPERTIES : I can type MATCHPROP, but cannot find the icon or menu item for same. Anyone know where it is?

EXTEND : Extending linework to an edge still exists, but another EXTEND command that allowed you to extend dynamically, or to a certain length, etc., without the use of another line was very handy. I cannot find that icon or menu item. Does anyone know where this went?

I know they're probably directly under my nose, but I simply cannot find these items.

Is there a VIEW >> TOOLBARS >> CUSTOMIZE path?

Yes, there is a CUSTOMIZE when I right-click on the yoolbar pallette. But I could not find it there either. Are you suggesting that I do a short program? I would think these commands exist somewhere without having to custom program them.

No, I wouldn't think you need to customize anything since you said you can type the command and it works. I am not familar with ADT but I would think if the command existed, you could drag it from the list of commands to any toolbar you wanted. Otherwise just add a blank toolbar button and add the command to it that you want.

That's the problem. I can't find the commands in any list. They're not in a drop down menu anywhere, nor are they in a list in the command or customize windows.

I have both on AutoCAD 2005.

The paint brush icon was there after loading my version.

For the extend, I use lengthen (len), dynamic (dy).

Thanks iken,
LEN and DY work fine, I just wish I could find the command in the normal way.
I do not have a paintbrush though. Maybe I'll try to reinstall the software. I remember I did have some problems with the installation because of a structural overlay program.
Hope it works.
