Where do the bitmaps in Toolbox reside?

I am trying to add identical parts (orifices with different size holes) to the Toolbox. I have opened each part and saved it in an iso view. All parts appear the same in their preview box, but when I add them to the Toolbox Browser some come in with a completely different view and background. Where do the bitmaps reside and can I delete the offending ones & re-enter them? Thanks, Sylvia

No you can't delete them. Those Bitmaps are called Shade files and they are saved inside the file itself. There used to be a utility called Unfrag that took this image out of the file, but Unfrag doesn't work on SW04 parts anymore. You might try looking into EcoSqueeze. Br aware that SW doesn 't support the use of this program. It's a use at your own risk. Some people have reported corrupted files from using it.

I found each bitmap was located in the same folder as the original model. I was able to delete them and they were replaced with new ones when I entered them in the toolbox. Perhaps you misunderstood what I was trying to achieve. Thanks.

Scott,

The Shadow nodes you speak of are actually a few things, one of which is config body caching. Which I think is what you were thinking of when you answered that question! the other things are are nodes that windoze sepcific that are related to windows "transactions"...
