I am thinking I am having some assist gas plumbing issue. The machine was cutting parts I do other work in the shop while it is cutting check up on it every so often. I come back and the machine stopped cutting but was still moving as though it was cutting. i stopped it checked and what appeard to happen is assist gas stopped flowing it toasted the focus lens, beam must have bounced back messed up the next mirror and the AO mirror and burned the y axis bellow made a hell of a mess with dust and so forth cone got real hot, not good, kind of appears it took out my HS98 board also. Never got an assist gas low alarm, didn't get any alarm actually. The parameter for the alarm is on and I know the alarm works. What I am thinking is I plugged someplace down stream of the sensor that tells the control what the assist gas working pressure is and I am trying to locate this sensor is it in the hyper regulator by chance, it doesn't seem possible to me with only two wires going to it. I was cutting 5/8 material and using oxygen for cutting and piercing, and I am pretty certain the nitrogen was off at the supply tanks. thank you for any help you can provide.
