I recently created a part and for some reason the clipping planes got messed up. When I look in the Help it says, "The Front Clipping and Back Clipping toggles turn the front and back clipping planes ON and OFF" but doesn't say where they are found in the menus.

I had trouble finding this one too. I really don't know where the settings went. They may have changed the name to something else, but it is hard to say.

What I did is go to HELP>COMMAND FINDER>"clipping planes"

Maybe what shows up there will help you

Starting in NX 5 we have introduced a new concept for defining the 'parameters' of a view. It's called a 'Camera' and in many ways, particularly if you work in perspective, which I do 100% of the time (even a one-eyed man sees in perspective), the Camera task offers many of its settings and options as if you were setting-up an actual Camera, such as setting your magnification by choosing which 'lens' lens to use, or you can just dial in an angle of view as well as a distance between you and the object.

Anyway, to find this Camera task go to:

View -> Camera -> Edit...

Or you can go to the Part Navigator and activate or change 'Cameras' from there.

Thanks, John, that was the answer. Apparently the help files are out of date.
