Could someone please tell me where I may find the coefficient of friction between concrete and asphalt and what the coefficient is.

Most likely one should be thinking on adhesion or shear strength at the interface.

This following book warns on the inconvenience of placing grids between the concrete and the asphalt.

Is also says adhesion uses not to be critical with a good surface preparation and without such interfering grids.

It is more common to require the friction factor at the surface of an asphalted roads, with some asphalt mix or asphalt concrete. Then you can find values both in the direction of the vehicle and transversally to it at curves as function of the speed and weather etc at a nice number of tables in

A Policy in Geometric Design of Highways and Streets

a publication of AASHTO, I have a 1994 edition.

and many more related revealed by a google search for the keywords. Hope some of these helps.

I have acquired a copy of the article at the following link (secured, unfortunately)

The authors conducted friction tests by dragging a concrete barrier along asphalt. While the static coefficient varied, the dynamic coefficient was determined to be approximately 0.2.
