Where to buy OEM style Weatherproof Automotive Connectors?

Does anyone know who supplies major automotive companies with their weather proof connectors or where to buy these types of connectors?

Im looking for most connectors found on a typical loom as well as the male/female ECU type connectors.

Also, are these connectors standardised, if so what is the standard they follow?

The number of companies manufacturing electronic connectors, and the number of mail order and internet based firms selling the aforementioned connectors, is near innumerable. For a partial list of OEM suppliers, consult the following:
