If you are really interested in efficiency, look at the entire system, not just the fan.

Inlet and outlet conditions have significant effect upon fan performance.

Hi MintJULEP, you are OK , but for a given system, my concerns is what is the most efficient fan to use , of course I will fit all the facts to have the most efficient aviable.
So joining the most efficients parts I woul get the most efficient system.
