Hi,i want to know which output is used in this study .
i'm using von-mises stress and PEEQ plastic strain for strain .
My von-mises stress shows good harmony with the results but I am not sure about PEEQ data ,actually i dont understand which strain data should be used here (i use field output data for some sample elements ).
also whats the difference between history output and field output ?

PEEQ strain will only show you plastic behavior of the material. I would use E or LE variable instead.

In short words, field output is requested for whole model or part of it and is used to create contour plots. History output is requested for specific points and is used to create X-Y plots. More details can be found in Abaqus documentation chapter "What is the difference between field output and history output?".

Hello!
I suppose, that data in this work could be extracted from Reaction_Force-Displacement in reference point. Then stress is calculated from this reaction force and strain from displacement, that is how it is usually made in ASTM Standards
