We are a manufacturers Rep of HVAC equipment and print out mechanical drawings for estimating and take-off purposes. We are researching new wide format printers. We are currently using an HP 430e and need to upgrade. Any suggestions?

We are currently using an HP 800 for our
company.

It has been a efficient machine for us.

A good upgrade from a Designjet 430 would be the Designjet 500 42". This machine is faster smarter and has great resolution. The 800 model is great, however you will pay alot more just for the increased resolution. All 500/800 42" models come with the roll feed, auto cutter, and stand. You get a network card with the 800, however you can add the card for much less money to the 500.
