Hello:
We have a small engineering firm. We do civil and structural engineering. Believe it or not, we have done all of our projects in the past by hand or small custom spreadsheets. Most of our structural engineering are calcs for residential homes (wood) and small commercial bldgs (wood and steel), and retaining walls. We already use AutoCAD for our drafting needs.
Which software(s) would you recommend for us to use to structurally analyze these types of projects from start to finish? Does one software package do it all or do I need multiple programs to do everthing?
Our search thus far has not been productive -- I am hoping you guys can shed some light thru you vast experiences. Your recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks for you input.
