HI all!

I've submitted an MPI submodeling analysis through abaqus/CAE, and I get this error:

***ERROR: UNABLE TO COMPLETE FILE WRITE. CHECK THAT SUFFICIENT DISK SPACE IS AVAILABLE. FILE IN USE AT FAILURE IS E_Andiamo_SUB_metsp.fct.

The strange thing is that i've set working directory to /disk1/abaqus_work/ that is located in a new 300 gb SAS hard disk!

Then I've seen that abaqus create a folder outside the working directory, named /root_project_name/, and exactly in the directory where i've storaged my previus .odb file (that is located in an harddisk with only 30Gb free).

The strange thing is that i've copied the .odb file required by submodeling in my work directory, so there's no reason to go in the other HD!! Abaqus create a lot of file in the work directory, but for some strange reason he create something outside also.

So i've a working directory containing .stp and .mdl file, and another directory with .dat .eme and strange named file (for a total of 14GB).

1- why does it happen?
2- when i set submodeling .odb from cae, it only requires name.odb, then abaqus will search for it in the working directory, is it right?

Thx in advance
