why ansys crashes when the file size gets large

i created alot of elements in my model and solved the problem and saved it (it took about a minute to save,i mean the file size got so large),then when i wanted to resume it ansys crashed and couldn't open the .db file. or sometimes when it opens the file and i want to select a volume or an area in the model ansys again crashes. does anyone know what is the problem and how can we solve it?

this is the error
"
The requested EPLOT command cannot be executed.
Either elements do not exist or the selected elements
are not supported by PowerGraphics.
To correct this situation, try selecting different
elements,etc, or turning off PowerGraphics.

the .db file is about 800MBs.i think the error is not so much related to what happens.

me neither. You would be best talking to you local Ansys support rep. he can tell you of any limitations on file sizes although I have created db's of several gb and results files up to 25gb.

did you use ansys workbench or ansys classic in which your db file size got 25gb? i'm using ansys classic
