I'm making a simple sweep. the section, a square block and a the guide is equally simple. as the sweep passes thru the curves, its width gets smaller. could this be a setting. is my section not staying perpendicular to the guide?
To see what I'm saying, look here:
I'm using NX 3 & NX 4.0 Same in both.

Thanks

You're not using the correct orientation when making the sweep. Try playing around with some of the options. You are correct...your section needs to maintain perpendicularity with the guide.

I need some clarification is the feature in the pic made with the 'form feature - sweep' command or the 'free form feature - swept' command?

cowski,
I dont know, I only saw a sweep along guide. if its free form, I dint know where to switch it.

rep001,

You can't switch it. The features cowski is asking about are 2 separate features...completely different commands. You can tell the difference by looking at the icon in the Model Navigator or by editing the feature and describing what options are available.
