Good morning everyone.
I have found that in many industries storage is done with the filling the gas inside and most of time with Nitrogen.
This is also applied to rotor storage and it is recommended to use Nitrogen of (minimum 1.5bar).
I know this has been like this for years but I just wonder, is there specific reason why we need to use Nitrogen?
I know that it does not carries moisture so it can free from corrosion, but there are other gases can do the same.
Also why it should be more than 1.5 bar?
thank you,
