Why radial and hoop stress differs if I use apdl code instead of built in pressure object in Ansys?

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to simulate oil/gas drilling using ansys static structural. The hole (radius=0.11m) in the centre is the wellbore and the solid body (1m*1m*0.1m) is sandstone.

I've set the initial state of sandstone through the following code:

Boundary condition considered: Frictionless support on all 6 faces

Applied pressure: 7.58E+06 Pascal on the wellbore wall

Accuracy is quite good, If I use the following apdl code to apply the pressure on the wellbore wall:

But instead of using apdl code, if I apply pressure on the wellbore wall using the built in pressure object I'm getting wrong results! Technically that shouldn't have happened! Both approach should have produced same results!

Does anybody have any idea why both approaches are producing different results?

Regards,
