The function is quite straightforward, like using 8 pressure sensor to weight one part and calculate its centre of mass. For the weighing part, I can get a result by simply summing all data up.
However, the customer is very sensitive about weighing precision. The pressure sensor I choose is within the precision limits when it works alone but I wonder will the error get beyond the limit if I use 8 parallel pressure sensor?

You need do figure out the nature of the potential errors. Are they random or biased in one direction? If random then multiple sensors can be good because the error will tend to cancel out. If biased, then multiple sensors will give more error.

Also, are you using pressure sensors or force sensors?
