Hi all,
I am wondering if I am understanding this section of the code correctly. It seems as though the exposure factor (gamma_E) can only equal 1.5 if the solar panels are located at least 0.5*h away from the edge of the roof (and also meet other criteria). Does that mean solar panels that are WITHIN 0.5*h from the edge of the roof are not exposed and thus have gamma_E = 1.0?
Reference ASCE 7-16 Section 29.4.3 & 29.4.4
Thanks in advance!
