I need to estimate the wind speed required to lift a small scaffold platform 2'x 8' weighing about 30lb and supporting a load of about 150lb positioned 1' in from one end. The scaffold is an open tube structure. I have used wind loading calculations for buildings (British Standard 6399)but am uncertain whether these are applicable to such a small "canopy".
