Are there are special considerations for windows in chemical and pharmaceutical plants?

Recommended for you

I most chemical/pharmacutical plants primary considerations are: resistance to chemical attack, ability to withstand high temperatures and resistance to thermal shock.

For these reasons, fused quartz (or fused silica) windows are often used in these environments. (See for more information.)
