Hello all,
Got an easy one for you. I'm making up some lead wire extensions for a test and I need the name of a type of connector terminal. I have used in the past wire connection terminals where the connector is a spring loaded shaft with a slot in it that you can insert the open end of a wire through. When you let the connector go the spring pushes the shaft up and holds onto the wire in the slot.
Now when I used them in the past we just called them "pogo connectors", however a google search for that seems to only bring up circuit board pogo connectors that don't have the slot for the wire to go in. I guess we were just using the wrong name, does anyone know what these kind of connectors are actually called so I can order them?? Every version of "pogo" "spring" "terminal" and "connector" I type into google doesn't give me what I want. Thanks for the help!
