Wire Mesh Images

My son sent me this link this AM... I've seen lidar cloud images, but nothing rendered as this. I don't know if they were produced by lidar.

Not sure what you're asking. What the photos show are physical, wire-mesh, sculptures, all suspended from the ceiling. In some of the photos, the suspension wires are visible.

The templates for the wire-mesh sculptures are possibly from lidar point clouds ingested into certain CAD programs that can then generate surfaces that encompass the point clouds.

At the same time, there is Bentley ContextCapture to facilitate 3D digitization of the real world using visible light photographs as input.

Nothing...just thought it was interesting. I've seen structures pictured as wire mesh images from lidar outputs.
