How is it possible for a wireline tool not to pass through a particular depth but a Slickline tool with a higher OD is going through that depth

Cam you post a picture or drawing of both of them?

Apparently, Slickline had ran in hole with a guage cutter of 1.86inches OD on their tool string and they passed through the 3rd SSD of this well at a depth of 7457 ft…then they ran a b shifting tool with an OD of 2.0inches and they passed through the HUD at 7457ft after having a little drop in tension but they were able to pass through.

Wireline, we then went in the well with a swage of 1.75inches hoping to pass through the HUD that’s at 7457ft since Slickline had passed through but we couldn’t go through it..we have switched our toolstring arrangements(we had 3 sinker bars, 1 CCL and 1 gamma ray and a swage at the last part of the tool string, we didn’t go through the HUD. Then we had to reduced the OD of our toolstring from 1.75inches to 1.69inches. Hoping that it’s the OD of our tool that’s making us rest at that depth, we still didn’t go through. so we did that drift about 7 times and then we brought in the Slickline team and they passed through that same depth 7457ft again …even with an OD of 2.0ft, we are about going in again
Our Wireline toolstring was conveyed via a zone power unit.

Slickline toolstring was (1 weight bar, 1 span jar and a guage cutter)

Please what do you think can bring about this issues…or has anyone ever experienced any of such
If you have please how do I get this solved

Is the pipe a directional drill with curvature at that depth?.

Hi, there,
add a bow-spring type of centralizer at top of gauge cutter/ swage, utilize such configuration to have a try, I ever experienced and succeeded passing SSD which situated at high DLS.
