Wood shear wall design

Hi please somebody tell me how design a wood shear wall, a practical form...thanks

Thanks for your reply, now i need to know how calculate the seismic factors for the analysis lateral of the shear wall, please this project is for the Californa zone...

You might also obtain Volumes I and II, "Seismic Design", published by ICBO and written by SEAOC. There's good examples there. If you haven't taken timber design in school, Breyer's "Design of Wood Structures" is excellent.
