Hi, I am using ANSYS Workbench v11. I have an imported model from NX6 with defined parameters such that I can change the dimensions of the part in Workbench. I want to do a DOE so I need to be able to change the parameters in batch mode. I have been trying to find the APDL code of the commands I input into Workbench but so far have not found it. I already read in the manual that you cannot record macros in Workbench. How can I find or generate the command file for the Design Modeler? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi

This is easy to do.
Promote you geometry parameter and use the DesignExplorer to drive this parameter of the DOE

I didn't understand quite well. Could you explain further? Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the quick reply.

When you import the model from nx6 and you, offcourse, transfer this goemetry parameter to Workbench first of all click on the square in front of the parameter in workbench( this will promote the parameter, a P will appear. Also promote a output parameter, for instance Stress. After this go to the DesignEploration to make DOE.

Is there a way I can get the batch code of all these commands?
