Hi all,
I am attempting to simulate a stop on a disk brake with 5 stators/rotors. Currently at my lab I do not have Ansys multiphysics, only the DesignSpace version of workbench. At the moment I have a very thin disk that is between the stators/rotors that I have a heat generation applied to as a function that I calculated that roughly follows the heat generated by the friction applied from the brake pressure and angular velocity (Since you cant apply heat generation to just a face, has to be a body).

So, question 1)
Am I going about this in the right way? And/Or is there a better way that anyone can think of simulating this with the tools I have at my disposal?

Question 2)
With Ansys multi-physics and the ability to have body-body contact elements, could I simply command the rotors to revolve at a speed given by a function, and have the brake pressure inserted on the brake and have the program truly emulate a brake stop?

Thank you very much for your advice!
