What is the work flow of a compressor designer, upon receiving an order and API data sheet from the customer Buyer ?

[li]select the nearest compressor configuration based on power, pressure ratio[/li]

[li]reverse engineer by input Buyer data[/li]

[li]recalculate the thermodynamics to match gas horsepower matches all ranges specified[/li]
[li][/li]
[li]study the impeller to match fluid dynamics matched all ranges specified[/li]
[li][/li]
[li]study the rotordynamics to match all ranges specified[/li]
[li][/li]
[li]at this point , the compressor casing , impeller configuration , rotor size is ready for manufacturing.[/li]
