I am trying to locate an Article in the NEC regarding working clearance for a dry type transformer, installed indoors on a wall, with a nominal voltage of 600 volts or less. Does anyone know where I can find this information?

Thanks

NEC 110 and 450. You need to interprete all applicable requirements, not all of them may specifically refer to a transfromer but it could be included in general electrical installation and accessibility requirements.

The NEC doesn't have a specific requirement on this, IIRC. Transformers are not normally worked on while energized, so no working space requirement.

The manufacturer will have installation requirements for clearances for cooling purposes.

The connections still needs to be accessible for terminaitons, inspections and maintenance. So although no "working clearance" to operate any live parts is required, clear space is still required in front of the connection points to allow that work.

Also to remember, codes only includes "minimum" requirements for safety. It does not prevent you from doing stupid things so professional judgement and common sense still needs to be applied. Code does not list the way the work should not be done in all cases.

Transformers that you intend to perform IR scans of need to have full working clearances for exposed energized parts.
