Can someone help me in creating models of worm and worm gear using the following information?

WORM DETAILS :

RATIO 12.5:1
NO OF THREADS (RH) 2
LEAD 1.4333
PRESSURE ANGLE 20 DEG
PITCH DIA 1.311
O.D. REFERENCE 1.767

WORM GEAR DETAILS :
WORM GEAR RATIO 12.5:1
NO. OF TEETH 25
CIRCULAR PITCH 0.7166
PRESSURE ANGLE 20 DEG
PITCH DIA 5.69
O.D. REFERENCE 6.1875

Center distance from Worm axis to worm gear axis is 3.498 inches

All dimensions are in inches

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked on the websites that offer free 3D CAD models such as 3Dcontentcentral.com?

Or is this a custom design that you know doesn't exist yet?

There will be a worm gear tooth modulus that you need to describe the shape of the thread. Most of these exist according to standards that one often has to buy from the standards providers. I'm not precisely sure of the situation in this particular case, but if you don't have all of the information and expect others to offer a free modelling service I think you ask too much.

If one the other hand you were to express the criteria as a file or files and having made an attempt wanted to know how to create a certain feature or features then we can tell you where you're going wrong much more quickly and easily.

Here is a source for both design specifications as well as 3D CAD models of a variety of gear designs, including worm gears. Unfortunately they are all Metric specifications, but...

I'll keep looking for something similar, but in Imperial Units.

Thank you very much John, that helped me a lot.
