Ask suppliers to quote.
The product form, quantity, and location are all major factors.

The price of commodities varies based on many factors. The greatest of these factors is time. Right now, some alloys are much cheaper than they were a year ago. The best advice I can give is to get a quote from a supplier.

Go to Mcmaster and check the prices for these two grades (for the same shape and the same size). I do it some times just to have a pricing bracket.

Agree with all the above comments, availability, popularity (not a non standard size or a fast moving size),quantity, location, certification or 3rd party support and urgency (read desperation) will determine the price.

First look here for the base line pricing:

Then go here for today' (or the latest) surcharges to apply to the 2008 price base line.

This should give you a relative difference. Quantity, delivery and other factors come in to play as well, so this price list isn't necessarily the last word, just an order of magnitude comparison.

Also,

Rolled Alloys has a comparison sheet which is baselined to 316 SS but I can't find it on their website. The one got ahold of earlier this year for the winter quarter showed 2205 and 316 on a 1:1 parity, but I can't recall what the ration to 2507 or any of their Zerons was, sorry.

I suspect one has to be a member of their site to be privvy to this document. I obtained my copy from a third party who shall remain un-named.
