WRC 107 and Hillside Nozzle

Does WRC 107 accurately analyze hillside nozzles or can it only be used for radial nozzles?

I'm fairly sure the WRC 107 didn't consider the issue when written- that just complicates the problem that much more.

From what I recall, even the WRC 107 is somewhat approximate, or at least it's agreement with FEA is somewhat approximate. If a nozzle was slightly hillsided, I'd just disregard the angle and calculate as if it was straight. With a more severe angle, it'd still be worth checking. If the calculations show the nozzle is very adequate/ overbuilt, or if they shot it as completely inadequate, that would be informative. If they show it as marginal, it wouldn't be as helpful.
 
I'm sure pressure vessel codes consider this. I'm not sure what the new european number is but it used to be called BS 5500.

lcmechengr, I agree w/ JStephen, to my recollection WRC-107 does not consider hillside nozzles, but I think his approach is reasonable.

And I am certain ASME Sec VIII, Div 1 gives no design rules for nozzle loadings. Don't know about any other codes though.
