Wrong symbol in "Feature Control Frame"

For some unknown reason I am getting a wrong symbol when I use the "Feature Control Frame". I am using a copy of ANSI standards and when I select the "perpendicular symbol" I get a "bold R". Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get it back to normal?
