Hello,

I am a structural looking for some help with a water tight detail at the base of a WWTP wall.

The wall is 600 think and will have a water stop but is exposed to sewage on the inside face and I am looking at a sealant joint.

I potable water we simple use a groove and then foam backer rod and then a sika product like a caulking.

In the sewage exposure I am not sure if this detail will work and what products would be needed for that exposure?

Thanks,

Aaron

Can you put a reglet on the inside with backer and high quality caulk and on the inner part, use a bentonite bar? Have you talked to any of the pvc waterstop guys?
