X64 Print Clarity

We have a weird situation with a Windows X64 workstation. All of the prints from the X64 workstation have incredibly crisp lines. We have an 11x17 copier, several HP laser printers, a Xerox color printer, and HP wide format inkjet plotter, etc. They all plot crisper, with much finer lines. The other workstations are XP Pro and we have installed the latest drivers available. It's not that the XP workstation plot poorly, we just really like the X64 plots much better now. Has anyone come across this? Does anyone know how we could get the same print drivers & quality out of XP Pro?
