Been one of those weeks for autocad frustration.
In some drawings, when we have the full plan or elevation xref'd in, we'll xclip a portion, and when you zoom to extents, it zooms to the edges of the clip. In others, it zooms to include the insertion point of the xref that you're clipping. This can be a major annoyance, when you're working on an enlarged elevation on the 58th floor, where the xclip is 3' tall, and the insertion point is at nominal sea-level, 1500' down..... all you get is a blip in the upper right corner of the screen....
Sometimes, (when it does the latter) if we save the drawing, and re-open, it zooms back to the edges of the clip. Others, there's nothing we can seem to do to get it to go back to that.
Anyone ever run across this and find a solution?
