Which is better? These cables/wires are to to installed as internal wiring in the low voltage switchgears and distribution boards for marine application

I'm more familiar with XLPE Cables, but the vendor has offered XLPO insulated cables but the spec calls for XLPE; Just thought if XLPO is better than XLPE, I can very well use it if the cost is lower.

'Better' is a vague term.

XLPE is a type of XLPO. If the vendor spec'd XLPO cable, it might actually be XLPE (or it might not).

XLPE has shape memory. This may be good or bad, depending on your application.

Slightly different chemical makeup. XLPE can withstand temperatures up to 90C ambient, XLPO can withstand temperatures to 120C ambient. 90C rating is more than adequate inside of switchgear, which is designed to be 40C max. The 120C rating is technically better but is irrelevant in this application. They are likely offering it due to supply chain issues.

You need to be real careful about this. I'll say it again:

'XLPO' is not a material type. It is a family of materials; XLPE is one member of that family.

If 'XLPO' is all that is specified, you need more information.
