Has anybody heard of or know of "Y-taper piles"?

I have heard of Raymond step-taper piles but know little of "y-taper piles".

I believe they are concrete filled piles, possibly with steel casing/liner.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It cames to my mind that they may refer to piles which have a star of 3 points as shape and are tapered diminishing in section towards the tip.
