Hi all

I want to know the changes of Young’s Modulus of Reinforced Concrete due to temperature varying between -20 C to 30 C. Would you please recommend me any literature, papers, book about it.

Thanks,

The Australian standard for concrete structures, AS 3600-2001, gives the following formula for the elastic modulus of concrete:
(p^1.5)*0.043*(f)^0.5 +/- 20%
where:
p = density of concrete
f = mean value of concrete compressive strength

The information in this standard for the variability of elastic modulus with temperature is over the range 0C to 1000C, and shows no change between 0C to 30C.

I don't know about -20C to 0C range.
