Can any body provide me the E-modulus of Weldox 700 steel.
This is structural steel with a yield of 700 MPa and a tensile of 800 MPa.
Required are E at 20 Deg. C and at 200 Deg. C

the elastic modulus for each alloy system is relatively stable wrt alloying elements and heat treat condition....

that said STEELS: 29-30x10^6psi COPPERS:15-19x10^6psi ALUMINIUMS: 10-11x10^6psi MAGNESIUMS: 6-7x10^6psi

As temperature increases the modulus decreases...

for steel at 220C Im not sure that the modulus goes down all that much you may be able to use the lower end of the range above. say 27.5x10^6 psi....

The elastic modulus at 200 C will be ~ 95% of the room temperature modulus. The room temperature modulus is ~ 207 GPa. MIL-HDBK-5H (or newer J revision) has curves of modulus vs. temperature for steel alloys if you need a source.

TVP thanks for the info...
