For HOT WORK in the CT revenue metering cabinet (on line side of customer main)

Does your utility use IEEE 5184 calculations for this?

Some members of our group feel, it give a too consrvative number (as expected with High side fuse as protective device only) since some research orgnizations say that their experiments say the IEEE 5184 results are too high (implying) lower numbers can be used ?

Comments form Utility People please
thank you

The latest NESC has tables for arc hazard on low voltage systems that are based on the recent tests instead of IEEE 1584.
