Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anybody who regularly works with materials at elevated temperatures (100°C - 300°C) know of any library for temperature correction/derating factors for materials such as aluminum, different grades of steel, bronze, copper etc.? I am looking to correct the yield and UTS at specific elevated temperatures. I know there must a table with empirical data out there somewhere.

It is called the AMS materials handbooks. For nearly every commercial alloy they give such information along with 25 other pieces of information.
I have never bothered compiling this because I always just look up data for the specific alloy that I am working with.

There is also MIL-HDBK-5J (published in 2003 and possibly available for free online without violating any copyright) and its successor, the Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization (MMPDS). The MMPDS is available to buy from SAE.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the help!
