Heya, So I managed to figure out the problems I had in my last post but now I'm being asked to recreate the optical train as ideal lenses instead of the lenses I took out of the catalog, so I'm a little confused about that. I realize that ideal lenses just assume no abberations and things, but I'm not sure how to model that per se in ZEMAX. Can anyone maybe explain to me how you differentiate teh "real world" and "ideal" lenses in non sequential mode of ZEMAX.
Thanks!

Look at "Paraxial Lenses" in the manual. It sounds like that is what you are looking for.
